With reference to the the tip#1 i.e. Never store your passwords on your browser, if you really want to store them then at least do the following :
1. Use firefox browser
2. Go to the tools menu, then 'options'
3. Go to security tab
4. check on " use master password "
5. Set your master password
This will reduce the risk to minimum. But remember, if you forget your master password, then you would not be able to access saved passwords.
